SECTION 1 - INFORMATION WE RECEIVE
When you contact us via the Resources & Information > Contact Us link, we receive an email from you with your email address, device type (phone or tablet).
We find the device type information helpful to answer questions about issues associated with our app. If you wish, you may delete the device information that we put in the message section and send only the message you intend to send.
SECTION 2 - DATA RETENTION
We retain your emails for the lifetime of the app which is the lifetime of the WDAA dressage test information in the app. WDAA had a practice of renewing the test information on a four year cycle until it was interupted in 2020 by the COVID pandemic. They are planning to restart the four year cycle January 1, 2022. So their plan is for the 2017 WDAA dressage test information to be valid until January 1, 2022. If that plan is followed, information collected from users of the 2017 WDAA Dressage Test app will be deleted January 1, 2022.

How do you get my consent?
When you contact us via email, we imply that you consent to our collecting your email address for the purpose of responding to your message. If you don't want to consent by implecation, please don't send us an email.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you consent by implication, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to retain your email address and contact you by contacting us via the Contact Us link on the app or by USPS mailing us at:

SECTION 4 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the two third-party providers, Western Dressage Association of America (WDAA) and Dressage Illustrated, used by us will collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to you.
These two third-party service providers do not provide any of your information they collect to to us.
The two third-party service providers, WDAA and Dressage Illustrated, have their own privacy policies with respect to the information you are required to provide to them for your information and purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we are not responsible for their privacy practices and recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that these providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

To protect your information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

If our business is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
